bonjour records opened its doors as a music-centric select shop in the buzz haven of Daikanyama on November 7, 1996. The shop was dubbed "bonjour" with the idea of selecting and communicating the very best from a cacophony of information regardless of genre or nationality. bonjour records was also imagined as a venue for the intellectually curious to interact.
